Tree Babies
What is Tree Babies?
Tree Babies is a 90 minute outdoor class set in woodland in East Leake. It is suitable for babies from birth up to approximately one year old (pre walking). The class focuses on your own well-being so is suitable for whenever you feel ready to be outdoors with your little one.

Tree babies is a mindfulness class that allows you to switch off from your busy life and connect with your baby in nature, along with meeting other parents too, focusing on your own wellbeing as well as your baby's.
Each session follows a similar structure of mindfulness and breathing techniques, exploring the woodland with your baby whilst chatting to other parents, foraging for natural items and then joining together again for a hot drink, a chat, time for baby to have a stretch and a play with some toys whilst you enjoy some mindfulness nature inspired crafts. The aim of the class is to enjoy being in nature with your baby, slowing down and focusing on your own wellbeing as well as your baby. Each session focuses on the importance of connection and community to help towards post-natal depression and loneliness.

You will also need comfortable shoes with sensible soles, as we go walking with the babies
You will need suitable clothing for you and baby to suit day's weather.
It is useful to have anything that your baby needs in a backpack to free up your hands.
Hot drinks are provided, please just bring a lidded flask/ travel cup ( I have some spare if you forget)

The class will run in all weather types, unless it poses a risk to health, so please dress accordingly.
